I watched F1 in the late 90s/early 2000s when it was all about Michael Schumacher, but when I stopped spending time with my uncle, I stopped watching. Got back into it in 2011 and now I'd class myself as an addict.

I don't think I'd watch F1 if it wasn't so safe, but then again, Jules Bianchi is still in hospital after his crash 2 months ago.. Safety's come a long way though, and aside from freak accidents, nobody's even come close to being injured in the past 20 years, and that allows me to enjoy it more.
