Edimmus drop sharks fairly often, that should be more than enough. You could make use of devotion to reduce damage taken if you zerk. @wilsonmagna

I just bring my usual melee stuff with drygore, can very easily soul split normal edimmus even with like 5 on you. Probably consider wearing glavian boots and tracking gloves for magic defense, should be a noticeable difference.

I also bring pack yak to bank tortured ashes, they're like 7k each. I store rocktails in yak and use rocktails whenever a super edimmu comes out. I use protect from magic for SE.

I'm not sure if Salve amulet (e) makes that much of a difference but they were not enjoyable in the slightest with melee. Unslain Bosses - Clan
