You still need to spend the time yourself to do the activity. You want to SAVE TIME, not waste it. By wasting your time doing a d&d that offers 40k xp/h for example, you could have gained MORE XP doing barb for example which offers much higher xp/h.
Another example:
Say a method existed (no cap) that yielded 300k xp/h without bonus xp - you wouldn't waste your time doing a D&d that gives you 20k xp "free" per day for 20mins (60k xp/h)
300k xp/h > 60k xp/h
You still have to spend time doing it, and when people ask the question: "is it worth it?" they are looking for the answer: "does it save time?" and if the answer is no, then it is deemed "unworthy" and not worth your time, because you'd achieve more xp elsewhere.
