Because I was expecting The Originals to remain Nina Dobrev free. Actually, I probably wouldn't have cared if she simply came and portrayed Elena. But she portrays this ancient doppelganger and they make her do this fake british accent that makes me cringe.

British people doing american accents, I don't mind.
American people doing british accents, NO NO NO NO. Most of the time it's just too bad :P
