I hope they get the data needed to add the cause of death to the IM broadcasts - I'd love to see exactly what killed them. That way we know if they died embarrassingly or were trying to complete the impossible, but died early.

They said only something like < 1,100 deaths total so far... would be great even if they had to manually put the cause of death

I just don't think they can ever put in a fully automated system, it wouldn't be worth their time. There are a lot of ways people can die and it would probably be unclear to an automated system or at least not specific enough for our liking?
