Why should a delivery person be tipped? I've never understood that, pay for food, pay for delivery, why would I tip?
Well for one, they get paid pretty poorly.

So do many other people in the world. When I provided a service at Argos, I wasn't allowed to be tipped. I was given £10 by an old man for carrying his TV out to his car but I had to put it in the charity jar.
Tipping should be for when someone goes out of their way to make you happy, not just for doing their job.

I guess. If someone does something for me and I really like/appreciate what they did then yes I'll tip them. For example, my hair dresser charges 13$ for a hair cut, but I always pay her 20$ cos she does a good job and some places charge more for a worse service.
