This thing just doesn't work how it should. The website says 500 essence to attune it but it needed 100. Then again you can add more essence on it after it's attuned (maybe up to 5k charges) but still that's a 400 essence difference. Additionally, you don't get any bonus prayer xp from it, and charges do not deplete. I have bonus xp in prayer so it might be that, but it's still very weird (although I guess useful) how it works..
