Probably because you haven't really been logging in/out as much. I've been slaying a lot which requires continuous hopping because every spot is packed by the dozen. -.-

The tick doesn't necessarily occur at xx:05, xx:25, xx:45, its dependent on when you log in. But without going into detail, yea; its safe to log in or out at xx:06-xx:19, xx:26-xx:39, and xx:46-xx:59.
