He can manipulate his luck whenever he wants. A powerful being in the cosmos and generally the most hated due to his ridiculous luck (Us humans cannot comprehend it, so get mad).

He passes from universe to universe and leaves nothing but jealousy in his wake. All humans who see him immediately hate him, unless he blesses them with his luck.

It would only be nice if he was willing to share his luck with the companion. Otherwise, maybe the companion would start to feel jealousy and want to destroy him (or attempt to).
