Mostly boredom. On my main if I were to do any training it would just involve me sinking more of my money into skills and I wouldn't really enjoy it. Like I could easily get 120 herb from my exp atm but it wouldn't feel like an achievement and I wouldn't really care, but on the other hand non buyables like mining I wouldn't enjoy grinding all the hours for 120 or 200m or w/e I was aiming for.
I just find it more fun not being able to insta buy any items I need to skill or use for combat and there being a bit more of a challenge. Plus I'd much rather train 5 hours on a noob and get 10 levels than train 5 hours on my main and get a +2m exp milestone. It's also interesting to do the skills in different ways that are either viable now or didn't exist when I got 99 originally (runespan/big chin/c2ing/slayer being over 40k exp/hr)
