The update that you have done to the site, integrating links to Facebook and what not are welcome and a step in the right direction.
However the forums are still a pain to use, if I am viewing a forum and want to comment I have to login and then find it again, most forums allow you to use the back button to go back and keep you logged in, however on the Runescape forums, you get logged out, which is a huge pain. Also I takes a while to load and the search feature doesn't work that well, I usually use the site: operator with Google to find what search can't find.
I suggest that you try to partner with Google and integrate search with them, many of your fan sites have and it works fairly well.
Also managing events is somewhat of a pain, I think that if you implemented a more detailed customizable profile page kinda like a facebook/myspace a little, it would be easier to use and communicate.

well just like the dragon scimitar poll, why not have a poll with the dragon longsword? I only have 1 suggestion of a new look and that would be to have a design like the way the dragon longsword looks in runescape classic, and I mean by how it looks in your inventory and not by how it looks when wielded. I've always thought that sword design was pretty awesome.

I thought this week's poll was nice.
I would have guessed that the least known would be god letters or downloads and wallpapers, which turned out to be quite true.
Either the poll community has a lot of forumers or I have really underestimated the outreach of the RSOF to its players...I have always been annoyed at how little is known about the forums or even that they exist among players...

Interesting Poll this week. I think the fact that nearly 80% of people have registered an email address to retrieve their account should it be lost is a very good thing. If I remember rightly, this function of being able to register an email address was actually posed in a previous poll some months ago.

Most people are experienced now and don't need the customer support. The game has also changed to prevent happenings (scamming) that, at least I, used the CS for.
Just my 2 slashed coins.
I am happy to see Scimi B won. It's the best looking one.
As for the new poll: The best part of the website is definitely the Play Now! button. What would we do without it. :P

can't you change the buttons at the bottom of the poll. A natural rection is to click the most right button which usually is submit, but like once every 2/3polls i click on reset my vote :|
