I'll say this: B and D are the best designs. However, B, with that spike located at a reasonable height behind, is more similar to the previous one, and D doesn't look like something Dragon. Those weapons are meant to look vicious in a flashy way. So.
A looks too worn, while Dragon needs to show it's a metal that cannot be dented so easily, and it's too curved to the back. Stabbing is an important thing, and with the tip bent too much to the back it's not really plausible. That's my main gripe with the old one, too - with those spikes so close to the tip it doesn't look good. Those spikes are really cheesy.
C falls out for the same reason, and because of the hilt - with a blade shaped like this I'd want to turn the sword backwards and attack with the point at the end. Or mine with it. And the hilt disables that, looking uncomfortable like hell.
D looks great, and in fact I'd choose it... oh, I said that above, but I'll repeat: It looks too plain. It's a great design for a Rune or such scimitars. If you implemented that design for scims of other metals it'd be great.
So, well... B.
Oh, and last thing, unrelated: Don't log me out when I click the link in the news post to go to this thread, as after I log in I go to the main forums page and have to look for the thread, getting me minutes of delay!
