Main Subject: Graphics, Gameplay

Suggested Title: A Book, its Cover, and its Content.

Reason for Title: everyone judges a book by its cover. And Some may want Runescapes cover aka, its Graphical View, to change. and then some people judge a book by its content. And runescapes content/gameplay could also need a change.


Would You Want The Controls to change from mouse to keyboard?
- No, I Like Them the way They are.
- Only if i have a choice between the new or classic controls.
- Yes, Runescape needs different controls.


What would you like to see change in Gielinor?(graphically)
- Barrows/God Armor, Needs a change.
- The Gui(Graphical User Interface) needs to be improved.
- There needs to be more variety of Weapons for lower levels.


Do You Think The Combat System could use work?
- Yes, Combat is boring, I wanna do a jump attack to finish my enemies.
- Its Not The Best, But I Wouldnt Mind if it stayed the same.
- Players should be able to choose how to hold their weapons. I.E. hold a sword with blade facing behind you.
- No Its Already its best.


Personal note: I Think runescape is an awesome game, it needs some improvements. and some of these answers are my own personal Ideas for the game.

I don't know excactly what to say but Runescape was my first online multiplayer and ever since I got stuck to it.

I started like 7 or mabey 8 years ago.(I know I should be around cb 136 or somthing by now :@ but id rather explored the game and tried everything out then spending days skilling :P )

I never really played a other mmorpg as long as runscape because Runscape had that special touch. back then in my first days Runscape had the feeling of a brand new mmorpg and Jagex had a lot to learn in the years, but I have seen the game growing. It's only got a bit to big for me, when I started, Runscape was just... how can you say.. closer to eachother. There were no such things as the forums or guides, if you whanted somthing to know you just had to ask around.

Nowadays I only take a look around to see what's changed. I have not really played since january this year so I guess I quited In most people there standards.

So what I am trying to say, thank you Jagex for those great years!

I've seen people come and go, who knows I might be back some day ^_^

I've been playing for not as long as I'm sure some have that post on the forums but I have been around long enough. Personally Rs is good game and there's faults but we can't help it but I still play it because even with its graphics not at the level as some games the content is I believe well thought out most of the time. I would also say this last poll was really good and I think should help determine just who actually plays RS. Personally I'd like to see more polls like this but maybe more on content aspect or graphic aspects like what people think of the quest system or the guy at the begining of this page judging rs by its graphical cover. Thanks though for the good polls.

Sometimes I don't feel like logging on, so I just go to see what's up on the homepage. The Polls are usually pretty fun to do. This time's poll was no exception. I especially love it when you guys put in humor. Please keep including the funny options (which I sometimes choose ;) )! Thank you!

We should have more pets in the game, real life pet. More dogs like Siberian Huskys, alaskan malamutes, dobermans, rottwielers, german shepards, and etc. I thought it also be cool to have accesories for your pets like collars, name tags, and leashes or whatever comes to mind. Plus maybe being able to make a home for your pets at your house, being able to leave your pets there with food until you return. Just some suggestions for summoning.

I think the polls are a great way to include the community in the development of the game(alongside the forums of course).
One thing which I'd really like to have access to though is the date on which my account was created. I think I've been playing on and off for 5-6 years but cannot be entirely sure without this feature.

Runescape is a great game...but over the past 2 years or so...I think its declined greatly. Almost all of my friends and myself including have stopped playing runescape so now I find myself searching for new friends.

Also, now it seems that group games/activities arent as active as they use to be, and now there are areas in the world of Runescape where you won't see a single person(Burthorpe Games Room).

I wish Runescape would come out with something that would help inspire people to play runescape more often.

At the top of my head the only things I can list are:

1) Double Exp Weekends
2) Weekend Game Events (Zombies v Humans; Iron v Bronze)
3) Board Game Tournaments with Awards
4) Weekend Scavenger Hunts
5) Costume Parades

On the first question, i voted 'None of the above' because i made my character look like my girlfriend, she may be pleased to hear =D

But it worries me that the top three options in the 'How long have you played' section were all above 3 years. This means that the decline in players is not related to the loss of PvP or RWT. I think that Jagex should look at what they were doing 3 years ago to attract players. I also think that Jagex should be very grateful of the loyalty the players show.

Hard Armor0 has a really good point, the world is far too big, I dont think Jagex should be scared of removing unused areas. Maybe that should be a poll question. 'What if unused areas were replaced?'.
