I always seem to forget about polls unless I scroll down the page some >.<... I've made a note to participate more in my mind. Was interesting to fnd out that one person is chosen randomly from each poll to receive a month of free membership, very nice :)

Well, I just responded to the most recent poll saying I'd come and post here, so here I am.

I respond to many of the polls, but I don't usually feel the need to post about my poll responses. Generally, I only add a post here when I think my responses need clarification.

I tend not to respond to player suggested polls, lore/game polls, or anything that seems overwhelmingly frivolous or pointless. Frankly, I consider it beneath me to answer fluff questions, and I don't see the point in registering a response to questions that couldn't possibly lead to any sort of meaningful change.

Hey Jagex,
Yes the polls are very interasting and acctualy teach me a few things about Runescape that I did not know. It did not occur to me until your recent poll on the 19 July 2010 called " The Polls Poll" to provide feedback on polls. I just did not think of the value and yes, in the poll I did answer that I sometimes forget to provide feedback and so on. Then, after your last question on the poll read " Would you provide feedback to this poll on the Forums?" I clicked yes and then thought about the topic for a moment. I then realised that it was important for not only Jagex, but also for the players of Runescape. I say the polls should stay and that you guys should create a new page on the Runescape Homepage that give more than one poll at a time, lets say about maybe 3-5 polls for about 1-2 weeks and then it would be refreshed. Thank you for your time to read my feedback and have a nice day.
Sincerely,

Hiya, I'm responding to the latest poll "The polls poll". In general I think this was a great poll that brought up topics that needed to be addressed and brought to the attention of players. I myself realize, after voting in the polls, that the polls are one of the more important methods by which players can affect and help with the decision-making process of future updates and other content. I am also responding because I had decided to leave feedback in this thread as the latest poll suggested. Thanks! :)

An interesting poll. I normally always vote in a poll if it is brought to my attention like being posted on the login page. When I first started playing I skipped some of them because I had no experience with the topics, but that was years ago. Now days I prefer the guaranteed content polls. It lets me feel like I am helping to set the direction of the game even though I am only one of thousands of votes. I have posted to forums in the past, but they just seem to get lost in the sheer number of posts so I have basically given up on that approach.
