@ Dilbert2001 - Yes, both threads that you reference in your report on the prior page are threads asking a question.

However, there is a difference between a thread asking a question in order to facilitate a discussion and one that is just seeking specific information. Active discussion threads do tend to have a long shelf life than an information seeking thread.

If an inactive information seeking thread has not been recently bumped by it's author, then it is unlikely that the author is still looking for that information on the forums. A reply on it after several months of inactivity is unhelpful, pointless and spam.
