Yes, older threads vanish once they drop back to page 50 if they haven't been posted on in a long time.
Luckily, Tuffty managed to find it using Google Cache. There isn't any way to resurrect the thread unfortunately, but if you past this into a browser you'll be able to view it and copy/paste any info you need:
