@Dilbert2001 - Firstly, if you're concerned about another post in a thread that hasn't been actioned, it's a much better idea to just report that post to see if it needs moderating, as I believe requesting clarification as to WHY other posts in the thread weren't moderated is outside the scope of the use of a clarification on Forum Help, and is better suited to just a straight-up Forum Help report.

The idea of a clarification post in Forum Help is more-so, "why was my post hidden/my thread locked?" or "why was I warned for this?" and not "why didn't you hide this other post in this thread?" which would fall under just a simple report of said post if you believe it's breaking rules.

Secondly, as to your report. The user in question answered a question you posed that, as far as I see it, is slightly outside of the scope of that thread. While this happening once is fine, you continued that thread of discussion and then said user replied to you and pointed this out, which also serves to further derail the thread as that is also off-topic.

As you and the user in question being reported have a storied forum history of arguing ad-infinitum on threads, I believe that asking a question and getting an answer, even if it's a bit outside the scope of the thread is fine, once... but then more often than not that leads to a back and forth argument with said other party that takes the thread off-topic, which it was beginning to do.

Thus, upon reviewing it, I believe the two posts you're requesting clarification on are fine to leave in the thread, but the two following is where the thread begins to truly go off-topic, and thus were hidden for derailment.
