Steam, Orthen, Halloween.. it's been a busy few weeks! Today's looking a little less busy though, so let's tackle FMR!

Funshine - In this situation the F-Mod acted accordingly, having discussed it with myself before hand.

The F-Mod team are within their rights to remove content that they feel breaks rules or is detrimental the nature and community of the forums. Though you are always welcome to ask for additional insights, they are not required to justify every action they take.

Archaeox - While I don't feel as though the F-Mod's comments were directly harmful or incorrect, I agree that a little more tact could have been deployed. I'll raise it with them when we next catch up.

Jeremy Cheng - I actually agree with you here. Those who commented and the F-Mod who handled your thread got the wrong end of the stick when to me it's clear your thread had good intentions.

I know the time has long since past (my apologies for taking so long to engage here) so I won't be unlocking it, but I have unhidden your original post and hidden the F-Mod's reply.

Archaeox - I'm neither here nor there on this subject. As such I'm happy to allow the F-Mod's ruling stand.

Draco Burnz - This has been handled by an F-Mod. In future please report these sorts of issues directly to them.

Brave d Cour - Thanks for the report. I have moved your thread back to it's original location and will speak to the F-Mod who first moved it.

Dm Psycho - It looks like the thread got a little out of hand. I suggest you remake it. Should it draw specific responses again please reply here and I'll step in to try to help guide the conversation.

Tenebri - Glad to see the issue has been resolved!

Jeremy Cheng - On this occasion I support the F-Mod's decision to lock the thread.

Thordurr - Unfortunately I can't help here. Please contact our Player Support team or use more relevant forum resources for your issue.

Corugi - While I do think locking your thread might have been a tad heavy handed, I won't on this occasion be unlocking it. I share the F-Mod's perspective that it had relatively little to offer the community as, let's be honest, perplexing mathematics is never something that's going to attract the crowds.

Citi Bank - Thanks for the reminder to check in and apologies for not addressing this sooner. As you mentioned, Steam has been a major time sink for us lately.

It looks like the thread has indeed been a little steadier since the solvent was added and frankly, I do like the thread and I think it has merit and meaning for the community. To that end, I'm happy to have reapplied the glue.

Dm Psycho - There's a lot to digest in the last few pages of your thread. I think a few mistakes were made by several people if I'm honest.

Rather than re-heating what became a fairly toasty discussion, I encourage you to remake it.

As for the actions of the F-Mods in question, I don't have any immediate concerns that warrant punishments.

Corpaholic - I agree with you and at your request have overruled the F-Mod's lock and spent some time hiding inappropriate and off-topic comments. I hope the discussion fosters some interesting ideas!
