Hey Mod Kari if you could please help me i got messaged in game by someone claiming to be an employee for jagex offering me to apply for a pmod position, they gave me a link to apply and it wants me to log into my account to do it, for my account security i did not do it. The players name is "Jagteam_stiw" do you know if this is an attempt to comprimise my account or is this a legit thing? Mr.Capp

It's a phishing scam and will compromise your account yes. In some cases your email, social media and computer too.

You will be contacted through game message centre if Jagex has a spot for you. It's the same place you receive billing updates. Check below pages for some clarification on this

Staff impersonation
and add him/her to your Ignore list.
