@ Dilbert2001 - While that thread's OP may no longer be participating in the discussion, it is still a "hot topic" for many and that thread is working as a place to discuss it, so it does not need to be closed at this point.

However since, as you mentioned, the OP has not participated on the thread in nearly two years, there is hardly any point in continuing to argue against their specific points. If you wish to continue participating in the discussion there, I would suggest sticking to the more recently posted discussion points and keep it more focused on RS3, rather than OSRS.
