I've had a good read through the posts you mentioned, and while the person you mention is disagreeing and possibly wandering a bit, most of what he said is on topic... it's just different from your vision.
I agree that he's contradicted himself here and there, and while that's frustrating it isn't against forum rules, it genuinely doesn't look to me like he's trying to troll you.
I've posted on the thread, hopefully that will calm things down a bit and I'll check back later.
