@Shamantha

Few threads like that within that section. I see nothing wrong with them where they are. They have done well for 4 odd years if not more with no problem.

The Clan Home forum is for clans to have their discussion thread.

Thats their discussion thread. ;)

@ Shamantha444 - A clarification, in addition to Tuffty's post above - it depends on the purpose of the thread.

It was decided several years ago that FCs, just like clans, could have their discussion threads in the Clan Home Forum, so that they could keep the business end of running the FC (discussion of rules & ranks, event planning & tracking, etc.) separate from their recruitment/advertisement threads.

Neither clans nor FCs should be using the Clan Home Forum for their recruitment/advertisement threads.

@ Froud -When the Forum Rules were relaxed a bit, three years ago, that included more tolerance for swearing.

"Though swearing is tolerated, it should never be directed at another individual or group"

It is now judged on a case by case basis, taking into consideration things like context, who or what it is directed at, whether or not it is excessive or if it crosses the line into "vulgar, offensive, or profane". If you believe that the F Mod who moved the thread should have also edited the title, that is best brought up on the Forum Moderation Review thread.
