NonMax Jake, I was not the moderator, who investigated your initial report. If your report was hidden and no action taken, then that Forum Moderator deemed that there was no problem with the post.

If you disagree with this course of action (or lack thereof), please report the matter to the Forum Moderation Review V2 sticky thread. I know that the thread is backlogged currently, therefore it may take some time before your report is investigated. I encourage you to record your report on a piece of paper/Word document, so that, when the backlog is cleared and the reports are actioned, you will remember the problem, for which you posted a report.

If a player is encouraging another to post a thread about a topic that is dragging the original thread from its purpose, that would not be considered as back seat moderation. Back seat moderation is when a player posts in the style/manner of a Forum Moderator, such as issuing warnings/etc, when they themselves have no position or responsibilities of the listed Forum Moderators.

Edit:
It would be appreciated, if you avoided posting editorial remarks about the conduct of others, when posting a report here. Such comments are tantamount to flaming. As an experienced user of the forums, you are aware that flaming others is not permitted here.
