The point is that you have been directed not to egg others, especially one person, on. Egging someone on is akin to (flame) baiting someone and you, as a veteran forumer, are well aware that flaming/baiting is not appropriate here in the forums.

Focus on stopping that (the egging/baiting/flaming) rather than trying to nitpick apart the specifics, please.
