They do not advertise when a name release is due to happen, until a month before. Typically, these happen every 3 to 4 years, and the most recent one happened in 2017, and the one before that was 2014. So it's most likely to be around 2020 to 2021, but this may change depending on what Jagex want to do.

It would be good if they released more names or if they just made it so you could apply for a name if it has been inactive for 5+ years. The name has had no activity since 2010

This account is 12+ years old and it doesn't have a skill higher than lvl 90

Please no bumping old threads.

Jagex won't check any names for anyone as thats an unfair advantage.

If you like a name I suggest you add to Friends list or Ignore list and if it changes then go try and grab it before the people who use bots to grab a name.
