You've said that you aren't adding a no degradables option to staking. In a duel with someone who YOU THINK has only a traditional dds/whip it is pretty fair for both sides. None of that gear is too overpowered. How ever thinking some one has a dds/ whip equipped and they pull out a vesta longsword, chaotic longsword, or a rapier it's pretty easy to get knocked out fast. This makes staking pretty one sided, especially for people who can't dungeoneer for weeks and weeks on end to get a weapon. Or for people who can't necessarily afford a vesta's longsword to just die in one hour, simply for staking.
QUESTION:
1. What is your logic behind this? It only makes sense to have a no degradables option. Let people who want to stake with high powered weapons stake against someone with high powered weapons.
Statement..
2. People say boxing, and mage staking is the only way to go because of this. Well boxing and mage staking require a specific set of stats to be really effective. I think you should do something to help out traditional whip/dds stakers.
