It is possible to discover your IP address if you don't run Discord through a VPN, or Tor (which I'd highly recommend as a free VPN solution).

Armed with that information, it is then possible to initiate DDOS attacks. Tor's not secure. It's just annononmys. Anything you put on there could easily be captured and intercepted at the exit node. Short.and sweet, don't put any data through tor you aren't willing to let some random person possibly gain access to. Leader of The Enemy ||

This. This is why I use teamspeak instead of discord. Although OP's discord is quite possibly the biggest rsof discord there is.

Use caution with TeamSpeak too. I'm a server admin in a TeamSpeak community and it takes less than 10 seconds for me to view every client connection in the server. However, I've never had a negative experience with any servers I've guested in. :)
They would only attack certan players - like everything in life not everyone will be targeted.

For safety caution, do not click suspicious links. We have a system in our server that locks potentially dangerous links. However, you still need to be smart.

Speaking of being targeted, hackers target those that are dumb, so be smart and don't click bad links.
