I'm very certain that your tune would be different if it weren't available in your country. This whole "partnering with a site that we know won't be available in everyone's country, but we're going to do it anyway" thing is really stupid.

Yep that's exactly what it is BS, gold members use to get free stuff like this such as other people would have to use a runescape membership card to get them gold membership don't hardly get us anything anymore apparently they keep making new promotes like this just for few Xtra dollars they can squeeze. :@

If you have Amazon Prime and have linked it to your Twitch account, users are given a monthly reward as a part of their subscription. Jagex just happens to have linked up a promo with Twitch/Amazon to reward Twitch Prime users with RuneScape related benefits. Those benefits are listed on the first post of this thread, but to answer your question: No. Outside of this monthly reward, Amazon Prime or Twitch Prime are not service that provides RuneScape Membership on top of it for free.

I hope you realise twitch prime is not available in all countries, and you basically give a lot of players the finger, just because they live in the 'wrong' country. I do understand it's not fully your fault that some countries cannot acces this, but still, the unfairness is strong with this one.

I like this; I'm sure it'll be of interest to existing and potential players alike.
I know Premier Club members only get pre-paid card items but it'd be a nice little treat if they got this pack for free. ;)

Hope to see more of this type of thing in the future

The thing about "cool" is that it's subjective. It's clearly not a cool promotion for you, but that doesn't mean that it isn't the coolest thing since sliced bread for Snappy. On a different note, while trying to redeem the code I have, I keep coming across 404 and 502 errors. Twitch says I've claimed the reward (which I guess is Twitch-speak for I hit the View Code button), but the Jagex billing thing won't let me redeem said code, though I'm inputting it exactly where the FAQ and twitch reward thing said to. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong here.

Also, if I'm using the free 30 day trial of Amazon Prime and Twitch Prime, and I decide not to enter the realm of paying Prime user, does this have any adverse effects on my rewards from this promo? I know some of the rune coin programs insist on being part of whatever program for a certain amount of time or the rune coins are revoked. Is this similar?

It is a true shame that Twitch Prime isn't currently offered to all countries, but they do appear to express their desire to do so.


I hope that if this is a field test for Jagex that they continue to do more and hopefully Twitch will have reached many more countries in the future. And hopefully with far greater rewards! :D
