Whatusaytome - I've taken the better part of 45 minutes to read through both threads in their entirety.
Both threads currently are within the forum rules and within the forum specific rules for the Recent Updates forum, hence no action has been taken at this time.
Both threads are providing feedback, in their own, unique ways, with different (contrasting) viewpoints, about a recent update. Sure, there are moments when the threads each got a little bit heated, there were numerous parties disagreeing with one another, and even now there are some who do not wish to agree to disagree. However, that does not put the threads as a whole in violation of the forum rules to the point that they should not continue.
As the threads progress, if there are posts in particular that are violating the forum rules, they can be reviewed via a post here (as has always been the place), but at this point there is no need to take thread-ending measures on either of those threads.
