I've looked at the post in question. I see that you edited out your minor flame at another poster, but not before the person had quoted you. The person has not taken the bait and instead has replied to clarify your misunderstanding. We f mods cannot edit parts of posts, as you are requesting. The other person's post has broken no rules, so I am not going to hide it.
Also, you posted that on July 5, the person replied on July 5 and you then responded to it on July 5. I'm not sure what changed in the 19 days (since you edited it out on July 24) to consider it okay and then not okay.
Moreover, the flame is minor, especially in the context of our new relaxed forum rules. My suggestion to you is that, in the future, you stop to think about what you post before posting and keep in mind that it isn't cool to try to flame another poster.
