@Torte - It really depends on the context of the situation.
For example, my first inclination was to tell you: It's a term of endearment. This is based on my experiences of peeps calling me such or me calling myself such.
Second inclination is that it also appears in the context of banter.
Third is that some use it as a mild insult. Mild insults are best ignored.
Fourth is: There are other contexts which haven't popped into my head.
Instead of asking for a stance on something that is context-dependent, please use the template to report any specific instances that you believe are rule-breaking. Then, the situation can be reviewed.
