We wouldn't be too worried about someone copying and pasting from Reddit to these forums.
Firstly (as you point out) the Reddit post and RS post could be the same person.
In the case of someone copying a quote from a JMod, there's no harm done in most cases - it's simply sharing potentially useful information.
Obviously if the person posting a JMod quote here was doing it to impersonate staff or twisting the facts, that would be a different matter.
