Well TE ZZ ER, the main thing is to not "try" to become one. Just play the game as you normally would. Player mods are not determined by wealth, or how high of stats they have. They're chosen besed on how accurate their abuse reports are, how nice they are to other players, how community focused they are, the quality of their forum posts, and how secure their account's security is.
Just play the game, and if Jagex thinks you would make a good player mod, they may invite you.
P.S. You don't need to call player mods to deal with situations. You have all the tools at your displosal: the "report abuse" button, and your ignore list.
