The reason sticky threads are refreshed from time to time is just due to the nature of refresh rate. Larger threads take longer to load than shorter ones. It's the reason normal threads cap at 2k posts.

I'll bring it up to the team about the thought on refreshing general's chat lounge. however is Akhet is around still I would imagine it would be their opportunity first before the F-mod team recreated it.

The only reason many of the lounge threads are F-mod or J-mod created is just so we don't see the haha my threads stickied and your's isn't mentality.

@ ff6 - What the thread OP specifically asked was that he not make spam posts, such as "next page", at the end of a page to force the thread to a new page so that he could then grab the first post at the top of the new page. That user you are reporting has not done that since the OP asked him to stop. There is no F Mod action needed at this time.

If you think that decision is mistaken or inappropriate, you are welcome to use the Moderation Review Thread to request a J Mod review of the actions taken (or not).
