At the moment the gnome scarf thread is asking questions rather than being an out-and-out guide, so I'll leave it where it is for now. If the OP continues to add information we can see about moving it then.

I know the long quotes are ugly, but in this case they've been used correctly with further relevant comments added. If the replies weren't constructive and made just to fill the post, it would be a different matter.
