Hi everyone,
On the 21st of August I will be leaving Jagex. It’s been seven years (roughly four on RS, on and off), and I wanted to thank you all for the support, enthusiasm, feedback and criticism the community has given me. It’s a long time, so the fact that many of your characters are much older still is just mind boggling!
Some of the projects I’ve been on – unannounced game, Stellar Dawn, RS monetisation, unannounced game – have made it tough to engage with the community, and I regret not having tried harder. I’ve had some great moments though, such as the launches of my quests and of Divination, as well as every RuneFest
I’d also like to thank all the excellent J-Mods. They took a big chance letting me be a content developer when I had no games experience, and I’d like to think it paid off. Eventually though, no matter how awesome the things going on, I felt I needed to try something a bit different and learn something new.
So thanks again! Perhaps I’ll bump into some of you again, somewhere.
