Well it's the truth and basis of all modern economy brought into an MMORPG. You can either go buy something from your friends or just go to walmart... point blank. Pay attention to what your buying and where you're going, there are more than enough things to notify players and keep them educated. Its up to individuals to exercise that, not Jagex to baby everyone for simple mistakes people can learn from. In old days people would scam by removing the item and replacing it, there's a huge exclamation point, if you get scammed you obviously don't pay attention to anything.

A True Pr0, perhaps you don't remember how mean, nasty and spiteful the players were who used to lure?
I remember it well. There are a great many players who love to destroy weak victims, especially whilst name-calling and bullying.

yeah sounds good to me..change it back to how it was, see what people say, update accordingly and also monitor those bot/cheating levels!
i REALLY hated thinking 'oh ill just go and train wcing' stopping what im doing, walking to seers village and then seeing 20+ lvl 3s cutting them down...*cringe* Meow

But jagex knows, we all know that no matter how you put it or vote it, the number of yes votes will always be a lot higher.
No point arguing with that.
This is exactly why jagex does not make a big deal of the voting system.

@true, arent you being a little bit drastic with this? i mean part of the game for a while has been have market prices. Does that really make jagex communists? It works fine but free trade would be great after the first... month or so that it would take prices to come about.

if you take offense to being called noob in a game then you need to get of a teen rated game and go back to frogger, and if your lured as a lvl 1 does it matter?(lvl 3 srry) you loose things that atleast pre 07 you died with in a few hours anyway bc u had the freedom to venture into the wildy and then be attackd or u saw you first mage at the entrance to varrock and though you where a tough guy lol

i hate typing it was a sarcastic joke bc thats what controlling an econonmy is but im not seriously comparing the two lol
and noo free trade would lst much longer than the first month, free trade was the best part of rs(other than pking)

actualy jagex did not decided the prices the g.e is programed so the prices change with demand you really think jagex wanted dragon claws to be 22m +
this is why we have thinks caled junk where the price of say mapple logs is less than the price of a fletched mapple bow.

and all these people that keep calling me new if you played before the g.e you would realise it took hours sometimes days to find anyoen seeling stuff the g.e grately improved the game and stoped newbies going around ever 5 seconds going oh i found this whats it worth as they know they can go to g.e and get the legit price.
