yeah different people will have different opinions, personally i like the idea of having quests in the wilderness and clue scrolls, but i dont like the idea of losing the clue scroll because 'l33thaxsn1per' came along and anciented me even though all i have is a clue scroll and a dds on me (if i take food i will lose the scroll) and neither do i like the idea of being killed with my armour on or quest items during a quest.
simple way to resolve this is to have wilderness worlds and regular worlds, no need to move minigames or quests, but still have old wilderness back

!~EVERYONE~!
remember this post page and tell to all the noobs in future...
here is how "scamming works"
scenario 1:
Players 1 buys 1k mage logs and 1k willows (they used to look like eachother) mage logs are on market price for 1.3k ea he selling in world 18 cammy bank for 800 ea, player 2 sees this and thinks he is about to get the deal of a lifetime, he throws up his 800k for 1.3mil worth of mage logs and clicks away at accept not wanting player 1 to think, player 1 quickly and quitely switches the mage for willows, and clicks accpet himself, now in second trade window if you where smart you would see is says willow logs (x1000) and not magic logs(x1000)... player 2 just spent 800k on maybe 30k of willows...

scenario 2:
before money was colored at diferent mils you could make 4 look like k... a whip was worth about 3mil so player 1 would sell a whip for 3mil player 2 comes and puts up 50004, now that is only 50k but it used to look like 5000k player 1 gets all excited and rapidly *licks accept... in second trade window he SHOULD look and see it saus 50004 and not 5,000,000....

simple enough? scamming cant work anymore bc money has colors and items look dif, and the big flashing exclamtion point! scamming cannot work anymore...

oh and buying and item for cheap and selling for high isnt scamming its called merchanting, which has and never will be illegal...

I understand what your saying, but if you have the ability to lets say "name your price range" like Ill offer 120k-150k for this item. Anything higher then that just wont buy. or anything lower you will scoop it up for that price instead.

Linux-
It isn't scamming to over/under price something, that'd just be getting ripped off for being uneducated. The GE will maintain for a reason, educate yourself on the average price.. if you don't like street prices then buy it in the GE. In the old trade system players based pricing on supply and demand, which to date is still the way the GE does things, except it moves too slowly.

personally i think there should be many more votes, there should be for example
vote for old runescape (old wilderness all worlds, free trade)
vote for old runescape BUT only wilderness in some worlds, free trade
vote for old free trade
vote for old wilderness
vote for old wilderness only in some worlds but no free trade
obviously they could be worded better but..you get the gist

I have the greatest respect for a number or rational post authors, who argue their case without falling to insulting other players.
But look at the split on the vote: 90%Yes, 8%No, 2%Don't care.
Now remember what it was at 500k votes cast: 90-8-2
Now 200k votes cast: 90-8-2
and 100k: yes it was 90-8-2
There hasn't been a single point of deviation throughout this "vote".
Does this mean that we are swamped with yes votes and that 90 players out of every 100 are voting yes?
Ask yourself; can a vote run to this number of voters with no deviation from 90% - 8% - 2%?
The number of voters is equivalent to those in a government election in a small country! Do you think there would be no cries of Vote-Rigging and UN involvement in a situation like this?
