I myself voted YES YES YES a million times YES! In old widly I did clues just fine and free trade was not a problem. Will there be bots and RWT? You bet.... there are now as well won't change much really. But to have to stand in the wilderness for 2 hours waiting for your ep to rise then you get to go pking is absolutely just as a ridiculous idea now as it was when they came up with it. Although I am an adult and have no time limit there are kids who play who do have set limits of time. How is wasting their time standing around productive. Removing the wilderness and making the game safe was a bad idea from go. You live you, learn and you get smarter about things thats how life works rs and rl. By the way ask a veteran how to do a clue in old wildy its really pretty simple.

listen... GUYS Guys!
when i went to the wildy, it was deserted, the wilderness means danger right! i mean if you don't want to pk then stay out of the wildy simple as that! as for the treasure trails well now it's more fun! and challenging! now i can go to wildy and laugh as 3 pkers follow me!
and the free trade, you have to be either 5 years old or really dumb to fall for a scam. heck, every game in the world has scams! IT'S ONLY NATURAL! also, it would make selling and buying a whole lot easier and fun, you would go to varrock and hear people say : selling dragon hatchet 2.8m!
selling dragon hatchet 2.3m!
and you would get torn apart between the prices and you can make bargains and stuff like that...
BRING THEM BACK!

you dont have to apologise Valinor, its just everyone is entitled to there own opinion.
I just think its good that everyone can express thereselfs here, but people should not judge someone else on their opinions.
It is obvious the majority of players want it back, as anything in the world it will have its upsides and downsides. but we have to learn to live with this in the real world, so why not anywhere else?

I'm curious as to why Jagex is contemplating bringing back the wilderness and free trade. Don't quote me on this, but I heard when free trade and the wilderness were removed that it was as a result of a court case with a bank over accounts using faulty credit cards so they didn't have to pay for membership or something. Most of those accounts that used this approach were real-world traders, prompting Jagex to take heavier action against real world traders so it didn't happen again. Like I said, don't quote me on this, I just heard it from someone else...
So thinking along those lines, I'm unsure as to why Jagex is considering allowing the wilderness and free trade to return. Have they found a way to prevent the credit card scamming? Have they found a way to prevent RWT? Another thing I was confused over was why, in the second referendum thing, there was not options to bring back one thing (either the free trade or wildy) and not the other. I'm sure there would be players out there that would want one of the things back and not the other.
With the proposed changes to the GE, does it stop there being any merching? I seriously hope that it would, as it might mean that it would give us non-merching players a chance of buying those once immensely expensive items. It would be cool to me at least if Jagex was able to track down merching players and take the money they've earnt merching. Hopefully other's might agree :P .
Anyways, I voted for the return of the wildy and free trade as I think that it might bring back some players, including some of my friends hopefully to the game. I also heard that when free trade was around skills such as herblore and crafting were actually quite profitable! :O
