Summary for Tl;DR If everyone had chatoics, a pak yak, super pray pots and overloads. What would PvP be like?
=========
I don't know how you stand on this, but I can say that I'm anti-buyables for the Wilderness.
While Summoning IS a money sink, it is NOT a buyable, for the one and only reason that you have to gather charms, which can be speeded up by investing some (alot actually) of money, but the charm gathering process is still there.
Actually the only thing I don't want in the Wilderness would be Overloads/Extremes.
Herblore is obviously a buyable and there's no combat requirements to use Extremes (Extremes =/= Overloads, no putting words in my mouth, thanks!).
Unlike for example Chaotics, which require a high Dungeoneering level that can't be bought.
If they carry over the PvP/BH mechanic where Summoning levels don't count unless you have a pouch in your inventory or a familiar summoned, I think it would solve the Summoning issue.
High Wilderness: it's kind of supposed to be riskier.
If you're 126+12 Combat and you don't want to fight a 138, then stay in level 11 Wilderness or lower.
After all, the increased level range should increase danger.
