And quite simply, opponents are more likely to be the type of person with one account not multiples, (hello botters, who would almost certainly vote yes except green drag botters, calming) and even if they do have multiple accounts, they're a bit more mature generally, as this thread demonstrates, so would tend to vote ONCE not vote on every account they have. Very few opponents could be convinced, I'll wager, to create tons of new accounts to vote no on, unlike the rabidly fanatic supporters. I prefer to lose the vote than cheat, quite frankly, and I bet I'm not alone.
I also don't really believe if you somehow managed to get a bunch of people to make a bunch of new accounts and vote no with all of them that the vote precentage would change even a percent. Thank you Jagex's newly established reputation for honest polling for making me believe that. Until a few days ago I'd have had complete confidence in the honesty of their polls.

If you use commen since, you would know that not all people use more then 1 account to vote with just on yes, or no. im sure theres people from both sides doing that as we speak yet, the yes option is winning by 90% to 8% gf no option :) some people say the yes option is cheating to get 90%?
lol trust me no one cheated to get 90% out of 100.....
(Wilderness is coming guys)

Judgement--
You left out a few words there. You meant to accuse us of not being able to read. In fact, we KNOW they claim to be able to control bots well enough now to make these changes. We actually READ and CONSIDER proposed changes and point out the many flaws before deciding. It's supporters who just say "OOh, it'll be just like the old days, I vote yes." then spam the GE chat telling uninformed people to also vote yes.
Many changes in the game since the end of old wildy mean IT WON'T be just like the old days. Have fun on your first PKing trip getting D-claw specialled out.
Why do you suppose they won't implement these cool new bot controls BEFORE asking if we want the trade and Wild changes made? Wouldn't it be a good thing to know if they were right about having bots under control BEFORE removing trade limits? Especially since you can find tons of bots in game right now? Perhaps it might be good to see results first, before introducing massive bot incentives into the game?

Gee, I'm afraid my "commen since" must be a bit lacking. Check back through this thread to a few minutes after the second poll came out. It was 90% to 8% then too. And it has stayed within a percent or two of that the entire time if I'm not mistaken. My "commen since" tells me that after an initial poll that the basest moron could tell was purposely designed to be biased that I shouldn't really trust polls that violate "commen since" to the extent that this one does.
And of course it's coming. It was coming before either of these polls.

The true heart of runescape beat.
When the old wilderness was here.
Free trade made it possible to give,
a friend an item.
Not have to sell it to him or her.
I am truely proud of Jagex programming,
and customer support, for allowing a vote.
I feel as i have always felt.
If we as players, work together to keep
bad influances out of our game.
Allowing new players to experence the real
Runescape as we knew it from the beginning.
Then there should be no problems.
When we do not work together and we do not
care.
The problems begin and change the community.
Making it difficult on all players.
Change only comes when you allow it to happen.
Working together we can change this game.
To what programmers expected, and what players
really want.
United we stand divided we fall. Teams proved
good to take down bosses.
If we work as a team we can combat bad influances
in our game. (everyone has a report button)
on your play screen. If it is something that
needs attention use it.
Don't leave everything up to a (moderator) of the
game. If you are responsible enough to abide by
rulesand play the game.
Then you are duty bound to help our community
combat(what ruins the game for everyone)!
(rule breaking in any form should be repoprted)
Then we set standards to live by in our game
and community. Knowing we did everything we were
supposed to do,to prevent rules from being broken.
So we can all enjoy the true legendary game called*
***;3---RUNESCAPE----<
Projecting us into the future of on-line gamming!
A SPECIAL
Thanks to Jagex and Staff
On this Holliday Season
This is a true gift!
God bless you and all players
Your friend and Fellow Player
The Anilater (annihilator)
