There are many forum threads on how to detect bots; no, it's not just that they don't talk. Trap a few, then report them. Keep checking back on the highscores for a couple of weeks to find they continue to get away with it. The fact is Jagex could've banned them INSTANTLY when you trapped them in the store, since there is no way a real player could be trapped like that, yet for weeks or longer they can continue to cheat. Until this kind of blatant cheating can be stopped quickly there is absolutely no reason to encourage more people to do it, which is exactly what removing trade limits will do.
