I welcome the comeback & look forward to it with great anticipation.
Old wildy, the way it used to be, is key to that "magical" feeling everyone used to get upon login.
Free trade with no trade limit would help eliminate merch clans. Keeping the G.E. as a guideline for prices, instead of using it as a tool through which trade is implemented, would give RS a sense of realism. It only takes patience & common sense to not get scammed in a trade. Examine the second trade window carefully before hitting "Accept".
As for bots, Jagex claims to have better ways to detect them & if they're willing to place their trust in these "better ways" to work flawlessly or darn near, then I say it's about time. That, combined with us reporting them when we see them should help the cause.
As for RWT, I leave that in the hands of Jagex. I'm sure they know what they're doing & have some type of a solution. Unfortunately, there's not much any of us, as individuals, can do about that.
My solution for the RWT problem has received alot of different comments, but what if Jagex raised all of the max skill levels to 120, like they did with Dungeoneering. And then joined the RWT community & sold gold & items for real cash, but at a cheaper price than the other RWT's? By doing this, they would eliminate the opposition & make money. And it would still make players spend large amounts of real world money in order to buy the gold needed to purchase the resources to max a skill. Other MMORPG's do it. It would almost make the game seem brand new again. Anyway it was only specualtion, don't form a lynch mob.
In conclusion, I reiterate that I absolutely support this idea & have already voted yes, without anonymity, on all of my RS accounts.
