I've been playing for ten years on and off and I am the tru Raimus,Reighmus. I love the idea of bringing back free trade and a player killing wild. My Daddy used to have a saying and it was "if it ain't broke don't fix it". There was nothing wrong with your original idea. I think that making a trade limit made it extremely hard to be myself in this game.That was friendly to those that deserved it, free trade allowed me to do that and others in vice versa. Bringing back this would be awesome. I would definatley play more and encourage others to do the same. As for the player killing wild, When that was no longer**** just wasn't the same as has never been since. The wild is where your tru test as a gamer comes into play. BRING THEM BOTH BACK. Peace !

I can see everyones point on botting and scamming and what not, *ut if your smart enough you won't get scammed, and if your willing to play..just deal with the bots, they are in the game no matter what Jagex does. Most of the people who are against it are most likely players who have never even had free trade or the old wilderness. I lost all my friends when they took out the old wild and trade, and I can see why. I'm bored out of my mind on runescape...PLEASE BRING IT BACK :P

I really hope their smart enough, due to the fact the trade window shows a gigantic red exclamation mark if someone switches out an item.

The ***wer is simple. It's been quite a long time since runescape "two" was released in place of runescape classic. Would it not be a win - win situation to make an alternate version of runescape that could be played, that would be like the good old days, with hitpoints, free trade, and free wilderness; and the other, the runescape new players have grown to know and love. Perhaps this is too much trouble for Jagex, in which case, I understand.
My vote is for yes, bring back old runescape.

Lmao at the first few people who replied to my post, obviously don't know sarcasm. xD
Also, i never once said i was addicted, i was making a generalization of many people who start playing MMO games.
This is my main account, and all i really did was merchant and pk when i had time i have about 600 mil worth of items and gold in my bank total. Skilling just seemed like a waste of time because it never paid anything close to merchanting, and FREE TRADE. It was really cool when i made anywhere from 5%-40% profit on a bunch of items i bought and sold.
I was never really good at pking, but it was fun, the only thing that got remotely close to increasing my heart rate, there's something about clicking a button over and over that just doesn't entertain me all too well. The wilderness is dynamic and changing, there are certain times more of meelee/ ranged/ magic or hybrids that come around and throw everything into a giant o**y of hot sticky bloody messes everywhere.

Okay, here is what I personally believe Jagex should do. On the matter of the wilderness versus PVP worlds, why can't they have both? Most worlds should have the original wilderness, but there could be some specific worlds for just PVP and some for a safe wilderness. And for everyone who is for random drops, you do realize the person who dies still loses all of their items. And most of the time the random drop is way worse than the gear of the player that died.
On the matter if trade limits and the GE. Jagex should remove the trade limit, but could also have price suggestions in the trade box to help out newer and confused players who don't know the street value of each item. The trade limit just annoyed many people who would rather pay more to get the item quickly rather than wait to compete with others to get said item. With this method the economy should not be destroyed based on the basic principles of supply and demand. Also fewer players (those without common sense) will get scammed if there are price suggestions, but it is up to the players to decide, not Jagex, what is a fair trade or not. They became to controlling, and the players want their freedom back.
