Have you researched bots and how they work? It's basically just a whole butt-load of programs that do things in runescape for you so you don't to do them yourself.. They aren't special hacking programs that get you levels or infinite membership or whatever..
I don't see the reasoning in stealing real life money to pay a measly 5.95 monthly subscription.. Hell, an 11y/o with 5 dollar weekly allowance could pay that.
you have no idea what you are talking about.
they used bots to make gps to sell to cheaters for real life money. criminals used stolen credit cards as a way to launder the money from those cards, so that there was no trace between the stolen money and the money they put in their accounts.

you realize the abyss is in edgevile and is single combat......so a death dot would mean theres one person attacking you and a lot of people watching ?????? and really you only need to get a medium pounch from the abyssand you get the small from the mage guy in the abyss and you can buy the large for 25k and the giant for 50k from the guy in the rc guild
you have no clue what a de**********, do you. its 50 to 100 people standing in the same spot, meaning that looking for one person in that dot is impossible. they are safe from attack, and if they do get attack, all they have to do is stop attacking, and let someone else attack, and they are completely safe.
back before they did the update, i went to the guy after losing my pouches, and you know what he wanted to do? repair my medium pouch. i had no pouches, so how could i repair it. there was no way to buy pouches. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

MiB my cus he is a level 120 he is fine with the fact that macking bloods is not going to be EZY back 2 yeas ago for 8 years noone had a thing for giting killed in wildy thay wher smart and just said HAY YOU NO WHAT I CAN DO MORE SKILLS why not try fishing its a very good skill i made 14m in 1 week in fishing my fishing level is 83 and its very EZY allso just the fact that win ther is PKS ther is a demand for food and WHO is going to git the cash not the people that git runes NO NO NO it will be me giting fish for the players that are PKING and ill git so much that if your LUCKY i might give you some of it cus of free trade so you no think about that :)

go watch a youtube video on botting and you will see that all it does is play the game for you. they dont have special HaXZ0Rz and can cut a million logs for each cut.....

that isnt what laundrering money is, please research before you talk bc you really have no idea what your talking about...

laundering money is where you break the connection between a theft of money, and the supposedly legit money you put in your bank. they used stolen credit cards to pay for bots membership, then sold the gps they gained on their sites, making it look legit.

your absolutely right. they cut logs and gave the money to the rwters trader accounts, then the trader accounts sold the gps to the buyers for real life money.
where the crime happened was that the rwters didnt pay for the bots membership fees with their own money, but with stolen credit cards, so that when they were banned, they lost nothing. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

them using stolen credit cards isnt laundering, its called stealing, laundering is when you take the money and switch it with clean money, usually done at a casino, they arnt launder with credit cards bc theyre not puting money on the cards they are just using what is already on them, and its the kids fault if he first of gave out his credit card info, and seconldly if hes buying money...

I can safely say *he percent of botters today is the same as it was around 2007. Don't believe me? Go to the nature altar. See if someone wants to have a convo. You'll notice every one is quite rude and standoffish. No luck there finding someone to talk to? Have no fear! You could always try your luck at the Sorceress' Garden on ANY world, the Pest Control lander, Soul Wars, the list goes on. Bots effect runescape MORE now than they did in 2007. Because there is no free trade we are forced to sell at the low prices of the crashing items that the botters chop, pick, spin ect.
So Agent, while you're moping about the wilderness coming back (which I assure you will have little to NO effect on the abyss), I'll be enjoying my time staking, pking, and overall having a much better time than someone repeatedly running from a bank to an altar thousands of time. Gosh, 10.5 xp per ess. You make it sound so fun!
