I've been playing Runescape since 2004, have friends that have played since classic and were all for the wild and the free trade to come back. The removal of the wild and free trade was a HUGE downfall for Runescape, sure there were issues with bots, scamming etc. but the solution was not to get rid of these things completely, I have been scammed multiple times (played since I was very young) and this does not change my view of this new update because I learned from my mistakes and if anyone does get scammed thats their own fault. To be honest I think the removal of the wild and free trade was a VERY lazy way to take care of the problems that were occuring, if theres botters there should be more things implemented to combat these issues directly, not completely removing the reason for people to bot. Secondly the issue with scamming shouldn't have been a reason to get rid of free trade in the first place. If somone gets scammed its their own fault (not saying the person that did it shouldn't be punished), they were the ones that clicked to accept the offer the person was giving them, its their responsibility to make sure the offer is correct. Some people could say some younger kids dont realize if the offer is a good one, but this is a rated teen game if you don't realize how much money is in a trade by the time your thirteen theres something wrong, and if there are people younger than thirteen playing this game (a ton) and you get scammed theres a reason why its rated teen. If there are people that haven't even played the game when free trade and the wild were here and you are saying no to this update I realize you have a right to your say as a player of this game, but as a very long term player of this game trust me these times of runescape were truly "The good old days of Runescape."
