I really really hope that's a joke, mate. You pretty much described what pvp and BH+1 are now. Clans everywhere in wildy, blah blah blah. Pvp now is too generous, you can risk 76k and kill someone for drops of 5 mill+ and they're only risking 76k. Please...please for the love of my sanity, tell me that your post was nothing more than a sarcastic jab or intended as a joke. I really just cannot take that seriously, sorry. Hard situation; bh and pvp worlds, hard situation? Honestly...I just cannot take that seriously at all. If you're serious, you really have absolutely not a clue of "hard."
Such a small risk for such large rewards, that's pretty much handing you so much on a silver platter and you call that hard.

I know that my reply to this will probably get lost in the sea of replies, but I feel it necessary to share my two cents.
For starters, I have been enjoying this game for the majority of the decade that it has been in existence. I remember those "good old days" in which Runescape Classic was all the runescape that we had. I'm not telling you this so I can go on a rant about how back in MY day while going to the oracle you had to walk uphill both ways in the snow without armored boots, but instead to simply cite that I've been with the community for a long time.
You know what I've noticed happen when you changed the wilderness and trading limits?
The game became a lot more fun to play.
I can go on and on about all of the ways that it is more fun to play (People being nicer, less gold envy, more time for more meaningful activities, etc.) but I don't think I can fit it into the character limit for forum posting.
By changing the economic **stem to what it is now you have produced a better product in addition to incredibly decreasing the number of people committing fraud to gain membership as well as making your finances more strictly in order, enabling us to enjoy the game for years to come.
This isn't a democracy. You don't have to sacrifice the better game that you have produced in order to appease your constituents. While I can see your offer for a referendum to be a very good public relations move, I don't necessarily think that you should give up the creative and economic control of your company (read: your livelihood) to a mass of people who just don't know/care about what's going on.
That being said, I sure would be interested to see the results of the referendum including only accounts that have been around since before the removal of the old wilderness. Did you limit the people who could vote to accounts that are at least a month old? Otherwise it's a population bias and you'll need throw the data out.

I loved the old RS. Yes there were allot of people scamming, but that's what made it fun. there was a risk to every thing that you did. now with free trade and the wilderness that sense of danger and adventure is gone. without people scamming and luring you into the wilderness to kill you, the game becomes a childish, safe, cushy game were no one gets hurt. i rather play a real war game then a game about nerf guns. if rs was a real life scenario people are be against you. you just have to be cunning enough to make it. maybe Jagex should make another server or 2 for ge and 'the new wildy', for younger kids to learn the ropes and not worry about getting scammed.
But I would love to see RS become an adventure game again and what is adventure without danger?

That is ridiculous...people would not go PK'ing for single players with an intire clan...the idea of PK clan warring was that u make something from your achieved kills, it was fine before and it will be now if it is brought back...perhaps you should stop skilling and learn how to PK yourself...the game was much more fun back in the day, without it...Runescape wouldn't be what it is today, the wilderness is supposed to be a dangerous place...clues are meant to be hard in order to obtain treasure...if you don't want to risk anything by using wilderness...then don't.

as much as i would love to see free trade and wild, i can't vote yes for this. getting rid of the wild, while causing some to quit, was for the better of runescape. people, me included, were victims of schemes that robbed us of all our gear, hard work, and ambition to move forward. and by re-opening these passages again, it will just create more problems again.
no matter how advanced you get jagex, the number of people cheating, using illegal bots, and so on will never stop and will grow to a point even too hard for you to handle. :( and lets not forget the fact that times change in technology soo quick that the hacks and cheats that will be used will take more time to rid runescape of them. and sure it was somewhat ok back in the day, those enhances in technology will surely be brought to rs once these passageways are open again.

ok id just like to say though i do opreciate ur educational view and it is very refreshing....its a game as u said not a democracy. no one is being elected here. and plz ppl lets do keep in mind that it is a game. idk about you all but its not my life and even if they don't change it......ok. its just the point that everyone (being the majority of the players paying, free, new and old) want it back. i think thats obvious i just enjoy ppls opinions.
