Despite what you said, Jagex does NOT have the manpower to watch over RWTers and botters. I'm sure MMG has better insight into staffing, but from a player perspective, there are still too many bots in the game, no matter how many you are catching.
They evolve and Jagex is always having to play catch up. Reintroducing things will make that worse.
End of story.
Yes, I miss being able to give things to friends or even strangers. Yes, I liked to browse the general store for other people's unwanted junk. But this is a worse solution to an imperfect situation.
What happens to the *.*.? I like quick sales of small amounts of things. Quests in the wildy need rebalanced. Games need moved. Just leave well enough alone.
Either way, you will lose Jagex. The petition system here that you are calling a 'vote' is flawed majorly. If the 'vote' passes, you will face continuing criticism for a bad poll. If it doesn't pass, you've just revitalized the "Bring back the wildy" movement and we have to hear all that again.

Honestly, This would be an very bad thing to do.
I've experienced it, back few years ago. And I can tell you, with all the new update, It would be a very bad thing to do.
1. G***
** would kill some items and raise the prizes of others. It would kill the rs economy at all. This is not what we want (or at least 90% of us)
2. for the new player sake.
For all the new players, or noobs players, or player who don't understand english pretty well, if they go in the wild without knowing were they go, what or wich rish they are taking by doing that, It would be frustating for them to get killed by pkers.
So, in general, NO I DON'T WANT THIS BACK.

Why is it that people think a soul has to go into the wild and it is so funny to steal everything from players who are junior/mostly children is so funny. i.e. wild had all the high level players stand everywhere an entrance was to the wild just to steal what they could. God almost reminds me of how governments are doing people anymore. I gave up on RC because of your predicessors humor in making a trip from edgeville to simply RC in abyss so difficult. Leave these hi level killers to go to designated worlds and steal from people who enjoy that sort of thing the way it is, At least fairness prevails.

I think its a great idea,I loved old RS.I think the idea with wildy on just some worlds is good tho,cause clue scrolls are fun and kinda impossible if you have people running around and cutting you :S So yes jagex,give us back the Rs you created for us :D

Rwt and botting will never stop, because people are to lazy to play, and because people see money in the rwt buisness etc.. its just part of life and a fact. if you cant stop it.. BEAT it... stop complaining, because i know half the noobs that are complaining about botters, bot them self.. hypocritical? Yes.. but you guys need to understand... no one cares about you new kids that just started playing runescape or even played a year ago... us players that have played since 01 and so forth mean whats most, jagex ruined the game and they realise it and are finally going to make a good update after all the horrible 1s.
