Even with the old wildernes if you don't have a reason to go into the deep wilderness you're not going to get slaughtered by some high lvl pker.. It will be someone close to your lvl so you at least stand a chance if you're somewhat prepared.
The wilderness really shouldn't be the main focus of this as far as I'm concerned. The big problem is the consequences of allowing free trade...

im all for the wilderness and free trade. theres no real reason not to bring it back. sure RWT might come back but its always been here and will always be here no matter what jagex does. you might as well let us have the game the way we want it and bring back the "good ol' days" of runescape despite RWT.

I'm going to ask a stupid question.
Why is it necessary for all the worlds to have a wildy?
Should not the vote be unanimous for this?
I can support most worlds, but if 90% of players support why can't 90% of all worlds have it.
That percentage can then ***** over time depending on how people actually play.
There seems to be too much all or nothing attitude here with little compromise.
