It is really important to me that my question gets answered. Is there going to be the old drop system with the new wilderness? In the news update it said that the new drops would not turn into rares which leads me to think that the new drop system will stay in place, and it sucks!!!!

Everyone that is saying they can't do quests, READ THE FIRST POST. Jagex said they will re-located them. I actually found out about this on facebook last night when i was bored and looked up the runescape fan page. I couldn't believe my eyes. Jagex your smart, your going to get so many old members back that very day you make that update. I want to play again, but i just dont have the runescape spirit like i used too. Maybe its becaues I've grown up since i quit. But man I remember the good old days in 06-07, wow...pking at the maze with low level clans was the stuff. Will never forget that. I want to get back into runescape, but I just need that lightning to get me back into it. Any suggestions?
By the way, to those of you who said "we'll get scammed!" grow up its a game, your complaining. That's the most realistic way to have it. People get scammed in real like every day. Just pay close attention and you'll be fine. Take it from the guy who has been scammed for uncountable amounts of money. And I still want free trading back so bad.
And to those who say no old wildy, you dont know what your talking about. When I played back in 06-07 I took the wildy for granted like it would always be there. Until about the last month it was there, I started to use it. And before I knew it, it was gone. I wasn't playing at the current time it got removed, but i wouldve loved to have seen what was going on that day. And i for one am for sure going to log on the day it comes back, whether im playing or not. Just to see all the excitement.
Good job jagex, you will be rewarded for your wise decision, vote yes, not only to win, but BLOW OUT the "no" voters, cause they don't know the old runescape a lot of us once knew.

@Sc** beast... Some news reports have been misleading, so allow me to restate them.
To the current date, the OLD system will return, allowing you to grab ALL of your opponents items.

I am definatly for the wild and free trade coming back, they were the things that made me come back after the first day playing, noob pking varrock in levels 1-5 making teams just to get an iron set :p
and the staking limit being removed, havnt really seen much about that being posted but thats awesome, i remember the thrill of staking and getting money from the skill or luck of the fights, made 3 accounts and got 94 mage on all just so i could have stakers with kwl sounding names. shame after i started to get good they removed staking, spent 2 months gettings all my stakers up and 30m or so on the levels and then having them removed was just painful.
Having these events brings people together and as a player since 2002 who quit at 2007 ill be coming back, and getting my friends to play again,when it comes to the wild, LETS SEE WHAT THESE POST 2007 KIDS ARE MADE OF ;)

people moaning about the wild remember its not like pvp worlds where your skulled on entry who ever attacks first gets skulled so your usually ok if you dont enter the wild to pk, pkers wont jump u and waste time/effort/supplys on some one who isnt even skulled.... (this is to the new players who didnt know what it was like before)
